Beth, a native of California, who recently moved to Aurora, Co.,
started
working with clay in high school.
Her formal education includes colleges in California and Hawaii. She
has continued her studies through workshops given by Paul Soldner,
Rudy Autio, Don Reitz and others.
Her sculptures are of people, real and imaginary.
The uniqueness of her style is expressed through her ability to
capture emotion in her work. She also creates sculptures of wildlife
such as the North American Bison.
In addition to sculpting, Beth teaches classes at Bicentennial Art
Center in Aurora and
at her studio in Denver.
She has worked as an artist-in-residence for the Arts Foundation of
San Bernardino County in California. She has also worked with a
robotics animator in
California, sculpting human figures. Beth has exhibited
and sold her work throughout the United States
and in Europe.
She presently exhibits at
Foothills gallery in Golden, Co.,
and with Evergreen
Gallery in Evergreen, Co.
