The "Mask Project" 2008
A benefit
for the Hospice of Metro Denver
The Denver Hospice’s
premiere event, The Mask Project, celebrates its 10th Anniversary in
May 2008 as a month-long community event that raises hundreds of
thousands of dollars for end-of-life care throughout the Denver
metro area.
The 2008 Mask
Project opens on May 1st when hundreds of masks by renowned artists,
celebrities, sports figures, political and community leaders go on
display in the prestigious Cherry Creek Shopping Center.
Other
contributors: Celebrities include George Clooney, Yoko Ono, and
Ellen Degeneris. Politicians include Obama, Mccain, Gore, and
George W Bush.
Beth's mask was
specially selected to be sold at the gala silent auction. It
sold for $253.
